All courses and workshops are taught by RYTMO staff, volunteers and special guest artists. Many of our guest artists and celebrities come in to share their stories with the youth and sometimes collaborate with them.

JOEY ARREGUIN
RYTMO Founder & Executive Director, Music Producer, Songwriter

Joey received his B.A degree in Music Composition from California State Fullerton. Over the years he's continued to pursue songwriting and producing through his own company he formed in 1982 - Love and Laughter Music Productions.  Opportunities quickly opened for him as a latin producer in the commercial music industry. Among his jazz productions and associations are: Sergio Mendes, Phil Upchurch, Abraham Laboriel, Justo Almario, Alex Acuña, Marcos Loya, Stanley Clarke, Paul Jackson Jr., Frank Gambale, and many others. He has also written and produced music for several film, television, and video/CD Rom companies and jingles, including credits on The Forbidden Dance, (Fox Television special with Arnold Swartzenegger), The Terminator, The Dallas Cowboys, Thigh Master Instructional video with Suzanne Somers, and Disney's "Ducktales" cartoons, The Sopranos, and soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live.  Theater credits include music direction for Tony Plana's East L.A. Classic Theatre as well as music production for the first Latino produced circus called Circo Fantastico.

MIKE ANDERSON
Program Director, Public Relations, Songwriter

To describe a creative musical impresario, is to describe Mike Anderson. His list of credits include: accomplished musician, vocalist, songwriter, music promoter, public relations specialist and contracted artist under legendary music producer Robert “Bumps” Blackwell.. He is a well-sought after personality with the savvy of a seasoned studio veteran. His musical experience lies in the fields of A&R (artist and repertoire), management, marketing and promotions. But we won’t stop here; Mike is also a mentor to other artists, for such is his enthusiasm to bring the absolute best entertainment in the industry to all who wish to experience it. He mentors and consults with many “new” artists and continues to work with renowned Oldies artists from the 50’s and 60’s. Mike currently holds positions on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Symphony and the Y.W.C.A. / Y.E.S. Youth Advisory Board.

KYLE MANNS
Tech Instructor, Recording Engineer

Kyle Manns has been working for Love & Laughter Recording Studios as a recording engineer since 2004.  He has been involved in numerous demo and album projects and has worked with clients such as Del Atkins (bass player for Dr. Dre/Patti Labelle) and Ricky Z (guitar player for Lauryn Hill/Jessica Simpson).  Other media milestones include the development of One Life Creations, an audio/visual production company which produces, writes and develops projects for film and T.V, corporate videos and other ventures.   Kyle finds time to give back to the community by offering his services as a music technology instructor for Project RYTMO. Kyle received a degree from Cal State Dominquez Hills in Digital Media Arts (2006).

BRIT MANOR
Youth Coordinator, Program Development, Performing Artist, Promoter

Britt Manor began extensive training as a dancer, actor and vocalist at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and went on to graduate from NYU TISCH School of the Arts in 2005 (BFA) as a Distinguished University Scholar. She is a member of the 5th Project Hip Hop Theatre Collective devoted to performing new works and generating cultural dialogue among youth around the globe. She also worked with Opening Act (NYC) teaching drama to youth in inner city high schools. She currently tours and collaborates with many up-and-coming independent music artists as a vocalist in both New York and Los Angeles, and freelances as an Concert Producer & Promoter. In her pursuit of ongoing acting and music projects, Britt remains to be a keen advocate of arts-in-education and urban development.

ADRI-ANNE RALPH
Mentor & Volunteer Coordinator, Counselor, Singer, Songwriter, Musician

Since a young age, Adri-Anne Ralph has been extensively involved in the arts, dancing, singing, and playing multiple instruments. At 14, she and several other girls formed a music group, which recorded, toured and performed for 6 years. After high school, she was accepted along with 49 students across Canada, to the Canadian College of Performing Arts, where she studied multiple disciplines of the performing arts, including, acting, singing, and dancing. She has done collaborative writing and recording work with a variety of songwriters and bands, and has taught piano and voice. She also had the opportunity of traveling to South America and Jamaica with "Youth With A Mission" on a music missions training program. Upon returning, Adri-Anne began her association with CLAMA/Project RYTMO, and obtained certification as a Christianlay counselor. She is dedicated to investing in the lives and gifts of the students she works with at Project RYTMO.
