Volunteers and Mentors play a vital role in helping to support and advance RYTMO youth, and generally adds to the totality of a full-bodied professional and collaborative experience. You can spend time investing your creative and positive expertise into the lives and careers of promising youth by enriching their artistry; Create genuine relationships where mutual trust, admiration, accountability and insight can be nurtured; Be a positive role model and demonstrate professional character, values and behavior; and support youth in learning and applying musical concepts and skills through goal setting and objectives.
RYTMO has also created its own (c)Music Mentoring Program, designed to be used as a guide for mentors, and helps to provide our youth with one-on-one artistic development and life enrichment skills through positive role-modeling, professional encouragement and personal accountability. Topics include Character Development, Leadership Development, Career Exploration and Academic Achievement.

Volunteers come in all different shapes and sizes! We love when volunteers contribute in the best way they know how, whether it be through private lessons in voice or music, production help, event support, guest workshops, tutoring or even program promotion. No matter what you have to offer, you will play a key role in supporting, enriching our youth through music, technology, education, project development or personal betterment. The best thing is you can choose how long you would like to volunteer for, whether its for one day or six months!

***Selected Volunteers will be subject to a mandatory Background Check and Training Session prior to release into the program. We encourage volunteers to contribute a minimum of 1 hours/week for 9 weeks or more.
