WHY MUSIC? The joy of music may just be the one thing that all people have in common. Sure, there are different types of music, but can you imagine a world without rhythm, rhyme or melody? At RYTMO, young people have the opportunity to experiment with music - where it comes from, what makes a "hit" song, how to make beats, how to write lyrics, how to find a job in the entertainment industry, and more. Most importantly, you will learn how to make a positive mark on the world, whether you pursue a career in music or not. Music Technology is the merging of music with computers and software. With the rise of digital music, video gaming, cell phone ringtones, film & television and the internet, this is a new and highly sought out profession in today's industry. From Beethoven to Mars Volta - from Count Basie to Tupac and beyond - you'll learn and experience everything that has to do with music production. Total immersion.

THE COURSES RYTMO hosts courses every quarter starting January, April, July, and October. Check out our calendar for the next orientation. Each course meets for 8-10 weeks on only 1 day a week for 2 hours after school. Level 1 is mandatory for all new participants.
